This dataset comprises cyclist counts collected at the City of Winnipeg’s permanent count stations. Each station utilizes an inductive loop sensor, which detects metal from bicycle wheels (rims) as they pass over the sensor and disturb the electromagnetic field.

This map depicts the on and off road cycling infrastructure that makes up the cycling network. It includes City owned infrastructure (e.g., multiuse paths and protected bike lanes) as well as some spur routes and other private infrastructure.
