Rush Hour Towing data from WPA's TowLog.

The report provides enrolment statistics based on data reported annually on September 30th by public and independent schools in the Province of Manitoba.

This data is provided by the Province of Manitoba as a pilot Open Data program between the city and the province - the data is available here: http://www.edu.gov.mb.ca/k12/finance/sch_enrol/

Total population, land area, and population density of neighbourhoods, neighbourhood clusters, wards, community areas, and custom areas including downtown and the entire city beginning with the 1971 census.

Every Winnipeg Transit bus is equipped with an on-board computer and GPS that logs whether or not it is on time as it leaves a bus stop.

This raw data is available for download, showing the scheduled departure time from each bus stop, as well as the deviation (+/- in seconds) from this scheduled departure time.

Data is collected from buses on a daily basis. However, due to transmission problems and data issues, a small percentage of bus data may be missing from Winnipeg Transit’s data set. As well, due to GPS and other errors, a small percentage of bus data may contain erroneous data. This data set contains the data as it is reported by the on-board computer.

This dataset is the base geometry used by The City of Winnipeg's Linear Reference System (LRS). It is to be used in conjunction with LRS events also published on the Open Data portal.

Things to be aware of when using the Winnipeg LRS:
- Although attempts have been made to ensure the geometry and attribute data is correct, errors still exist in the network. Please use at your own risk.
- The LRS segments have been digitized in the direction of the municipal addressing

This dataset is an index for City of Winnipeg LiDAR files created by the Water and Waste department. Each file contains a point cloud detailing the location, elevation and surface type at each location point. Rows with a file type of "Tile" link to a file containing a 1km x 1km section of the City, while rows with a file type of "Full" link to a zipped collection of every tile available for the year.

Number of By-Law Investigations Initiated (311 service requests both external (public-generated) and internal (BEO generated) including neighbourhood information (not addresses).

This dataset comprises midblock traffic counts collected by the City of Winnipeg as part of the Traffic Monitoring Program. Midblock traffic counts are conducted using portable sensors called pneumatic road tubes.

Pneumatic road tubes are installed on roadways perpendicular to the directions of travel and are connected to data loggers at the side of the road. The data logger records vehicles as they drive over the tubes by sensing changes in air pressure within the tubes. Each vehicle axle that drives over the tube creates a pulse that is recorded by the data logger. The number of pulses is divided by two to obtain an estimate of the number of vehicles. This estimate is known as a passenger car equivalents count.

Midblock counts can be conducted as part of the annual count program or upon special request. They are typically two to seven days in duration.

Information on Historic properties and buildings for Winnipeg (Past, Present, and Future)

The City of Winnipeg’s Human Resources dataset represents information on our former and current complement of employee’s. Reports are generated on an annual basis based on our active complement as of December 31st, each calendar year. Metrics are currently being supplied by City, by Union and by Department on an annual basis. In the future we may expand our dataset to include prior years, alternate viewing types and a number of new metrics.

Due to FIPPA legislative requirements our Departments and/or Union Groups have been rolled up where the head count is less than 10. If a metric was being displayed that could lead to the identification of an individual it has been removed.

Exclusions: The City of Winnipeg HR Dataset does not include any employees of the Winnipeg Civic Employees’ Benefits program.
