This data includes source data and analysis which informed and is part of the Community Energy Investmet Roadmap, presented to Council in 2022. It includes a baseline 2016 Community GHG inventory. This dataset is a meta-data evaluation of the public datasets on the Open Data portal. Each public dataset is evaluated based on a variety of topics, and assigned a score between 0 and 100.
The datasets are assigned a meta data attribute based on the following scores:
• 0-70: Bronze
• 71-80: Silver
• 81-100: Gold

This data set contains the results of energy use and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions inventories for 2015 to present. This data supports the City's efforts to meet climate mitigation and adaptation goals found in the Winnipeg Climate Action Plan (https://legacy.winnipeg.ca/sustainability/PublicEngagement/ClimateActionPlan/default.stm) and the Community Energy Investment Roadmap (https://legacy.winnipeg.ca/sustainability/ceir.stm).
Changes to process and inclusion of new data has made inter-year comparisons imperfect but useful.
